Bill Barbour

Bill Barbour has lived in Oak ridge since 1993. He has been engaged full-time in the practice of law in Guilford County since 1981. His private practice was in Greensboro until December, 2005 at which time he opened his Oak Ridge office. His undergraduate degree is from Western Carolina University in business administration. He graduated from the Cumberland School of Law, Samford University, in 1981. His areas of practice include general practice, wills, real estate closings, foreclosures, collections, probate and administration of estates, small business incorporations and related matters. He presently serves as chairman on the Oak Ridge Ordinance Review Committee, and is active in the Merchants Association of Oak Ridge. He and his wife Pam have two grown children.

 

Valerie Richmond

Valerie Richmond moved to the Oak Ridge area in 2005 from Hendersonville, Tennessee.  She received her undergraduate degree from College of Charleston in Biology and her paralegal certification from Southeastern Paralegal Institute in Nashville, TN.  She worked for 4 ½ years as a bankruptcy paralegal at AmSouth Bank in Nashville, TN before relocating to North Carolina due to her husband’s job.  She joined our staff in May of 2007 to assist in real estate closings, Wills, estates, and general practice needs of our clients.  She and her husband have two children: a daughter who currently attends Appalachian State University and a son who attends UNC-CH.
